This is my Visual Language sample from term 4. I haveswelected this sample because I like pukekos and it was really neat. My next learning step is to write neater.

Athletics 2010

This is my scores from Athletics day. I didn't think that discus would be my best event though. I definitely think that this is a great achievement and better than last years. [because I was sick last year]

This is my maths sample I did this term with Mrs Walker. I think it is pretty good but I need to improve as well.

This year we had a speech competition. The topic was competition and the sheet above is my score card I got 81%100 which I think is pretty good for my first go.

Term 4 Goals

My term 4 academic goal is to pass HH in times table challenge to do this I will practise my times tables. My term 4 key competency goal is to complete my PI and get a good score to do this I will look after my pet properly.

Recently we have completed our second testfor spelling. In February I was spelling at 13.3. Now I am at age 13.5. I feel good

This is my favourite poem from term 3 I did cool illustrations and a border that stands out so I think its pretty good I feel good about the standard.

Term 3 Goals Reflection

I achieved my academic goal for term 3 because I wrote my best story about magic which I think is pretty good.I partially achieved my key competence goal because I didnt get a very good score.

I think this is my best narrative so far because it has everything in the criteria and has alot of action which is the kind of narratives I write and it also is very cool my friend said.

Senior Sky Scrapers Fitness Development

For the first 5 weeks of Term 3 we have been doing fitness circuit training. Some of the activities included Skipping, Soccer juggle and shuttle run. The sheet is a record of my fitness. I think I improved my fitness because it felt easier each time I did it.

Term 3 Goals

My academic goal for term 3 is to improve my narrative writing.I will achieve this by adding lots of extra adjectives, similes, onomatopoeia, and voice.
My Key Comptency Goal for term 3 is to finish my PI and get a good score.

Term 2 Goals Reflection

For my Term 2 academic goal I didn't achieve my academic goal because we haven't started story writing yet. I feel disappointed
For my Term 2 key competency I didn't achieve my Key competency goal because I didn't work hard enough I feel annoyed.

In Term 2 my Personal Investigation was on whether I could make a go kart look like a
race car. I presented it on a power point. I think my PI was a good one because it challenged me to be creative.

This is my cross country training sheet I was training so hard but I couldnt do the cross country because of a twisted ankle.

Fishing Story Reflection
On Monday 3rd May the Minstrel came to Riverdale School. He taught us all about fishing. In class we wrote a story on a fishing experience. We are learning to be interesting writers by using lots of adjectives and details. We have learnt to get straight into the action. I think my story is a pretty good one but a short one. To improve my writing next time I will use more similies.
